5 centimeters per second

I am still feeling numb after this wonderful hypnotizing movie that I've just watched.

5 Centimeters per Second

There is something magical about the movie: mostly the backgrounds. Our sensei told us when we first watched the movie that those backgrounds were real fotos that were taken to workshop, colored and turned into cartoon. God how deep and wonderful they are ...

Watch ...

There is something about the music ... something so complicated ... as if there is a knot in the musical note that meets another knot in me ...
Its like when you hear something for the very first time and you feel like that you have heard this exact sound in another life ...

I remember the first time I watched this movie. It was in Wadi Rum auditorium in JU. I love this auditorium because its deep and capable of maintaining the silence. I was wandering some where and I suddenly remembred that there was a japanese movie in wadi rum. When I got in it was coal black and everything was silent except for the paino streaming from the movie soundtrack. I have always been weak toward three things: Piano , Guitar and Oud. So my heart trembled and i stuffed myself in the first chairs and i just "Enjoyed the Show".

The view of sakura petals falling gave me that stupid Idea: Any moment sakura will depart the screen and press itself toward my cheeks... When the two lovers were separated by the train it felt so bad ... bad that I still feel like crying. Its really disappointing when lights come back after a deep movie ... its just like sea water washing away a sand castle ..

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust ...

please enjoy the movie: )
