Happy Cervantes Family:)

Yesterday

I did a little Origami shopping yesterday ... Imagine that: I went to Daiso and all they took from me was 6 JDs Buhahahaha .

I went out to wait for my Dad .. I sat on a cahir on the sidewalk and bent my back doing An Origami "Crab" and listening to Kiroro "Suteki da ne" for 30 minutes ... When i looked up that was the sky I saw ..

God how much I appreciate those moments when my head is out-of-service, my hands are busy and my ears are flooded with nice music.

Today

We had tons of fun in class and when we went down for the break we kind of stuffed all our heads over Miguels cup of coffee and we started telling him stories about his "Future". Well believe it or not: I saw a beautiful babe in the that cup. (Ohh Yeahh)

I did the presentation about japanese folk games

Kendama part: No one could do it but Patrick and a close try of Miguel.

Daruma-otoshi part: We talked about it neatly but we did not get to the kicking part..lool

Origami part: It was the best part!!!

We were all gathered around the table pulling our hair off to get the origami done.. and here i have to mention something: I might die and never get to meet someone who works as neatly as Miguel!! He is a human miracle ...

You can see the origami on this video that cant be embedded:

Saigo ni:

Watashitaci wa okashi o hashi de tabemashita ( I am smart^_^)

We ate sweets picking them up with hashi.

We were thrilled and playing even though the bell rang and everyone else went home that we couldnt fing a vlunteer to take a picture of us:

The aftermath:

1- Raya-san thanks for being behind the scenes taking this picture for us.

2-If Daruma was a man I would marry him.

3-Origami is a great way of learning determination , patience , concentration and to know that things are way too complicated than they look.

4-If I ever see Taymoor sensei smiling alone I would undrstand why. I tasted the magical feeling of conveying a japanese idea to grown-up people and see their sparkling eyes and their amazement. I am happy ... Arigatou gozaimasu

I am calling for a Contest

For all of those who have a sense of beauty :
Do anything to make the back of Engineering Faculty look any less ugly !!!

No really!!

Today my friends and I had to be nurses for a girl who passed out in the university. We washed her face , slapped her a couple of times , left up her feet and as she awakened we had to wipe her tears. A guy who was with her went and got a nurse from the clinic and they took her on a wheeled chair as she was drowzy and groggy.

She was crying!!! I felt so sorrey for her .. it should have been something too sad that it made her faint . My question is: Why I never have feelings that will drop me right on the floor?

I am shallow .. i love me :)

The Boy Was out for Yogurt

My friends and I went to El-balad shopping for our Spanish Puppets Show. We looked a lot fora shop that sells puppets and as we walked I told my friends litteraly: I changed my bag today because I have a feeling that am goinig to be robbed today. The next thing: We find that wonderful shop that has hundreds of dolls and toys Baleh and a lot of puppets. When we asked the shop guy for puppies a man who was shopping asked us if we work on puppets or is it a one time activity.. we talked a little bit and the guy turned to be a manager in the company that produces: "Sesame Street" .. I told him I write senario so he gave me his card and left. I took out my wallet and put the card in it and then HUGGED it. I was happy as the puppets were exactly what we wanted and the card gave me a good feeling that I MIGHT finally dedicate myself to one thing.

When we wanted to pay for the puppets: PUFFF there is no Takwa wallet!! We looked and looked but: NOTHING.

4 men from 4 different shops were runnning in diffferent directions behind a woman who entered the shop for 10 seconds and left. I did not see her , I just heard her voice and if I hear it again I would recognize it. Some said she wore Khimar , some said she wore Hijab and blue pants(In both ways: I was ashamed, why do they have to insult the most nobel concept in the world:Isalm!!!).

The guys went back empty handed , my friends were let down. For my own surprise: I felt good. I knew it would happen, as if I had a look on my part of the story of today and so I was calm and thinking about one thing: Your pictures were in there, How much am gonna miss your childish pauses, How much I am gonna miss going over your lashes before I sleep.

Am I a drama junky? I guess am not but the truth is that I did not feel bad, I was trying to imagine how can a Muslim Steal? really .. how can a muslim put a peny in his pocket when it is not his.. It hurts really ...

So my friends and I bought the puppies (actully: they paid and I watched) . The good news is that we got a DISCOUNT for being robbed!! :)

We went to the ploice station , the word in arabic has more music: مخفر
We went to wast almadeena makhfar ... Its a spoky building that I once read about in a novel of my dearest jordanian writer Mo'nes Erazzaz , this is why it felt so familiar and fun. It had dark walls and an actual CELL called : الحجز التحفظي .

I talked to the cops and nicely addressed me to anothe makhfar that moderates the spot where I was robbed. (I was like: What the Hell!! I cant go to Philadelphia plice station, It was never mentioned in a novel!!) So we went.. Aliet was jumping all the way and saying: We are going to the police ..we are going to the police... My friends handeled it so well that we enjoued being annoyed:)

The other makhfar was so clean and well painted .. we sat in a room with a guy who humming in the phone and telling someone that the caught a car that had drugs (ops) and another car that had a bundle of weapons (oppps) and the cops mobile was robbed in el Balad (Bohahahaha).

He asked: do you have anything that proves your personality? Maybe that was the weirdest part of it all. I lost my civil ID , University ID , Cervantes ID , even my Gym card!! I had nothing on me that says that I am ME.

I think thats the lesson I needed to learn .. For many days now I have been wondering Who Really AM I .. am I a translator? A journalist? a novelist? a student? a spoiled kid? and I found out today in a moment when I had NOTHING that proves me that nothing I do or have would BE the person whom I am. Its me: Takwa-san who enjoys the worst things and takes a shower in the full half of the cup. Takwa-san who has this bundle of wonderful friends who would give her a good reason to laugh and hold a good mental picture of every minute. Thats me .. What a relief:)

Before I signed my statement I got this phone call and a man tells me that his son was back from the supermarket after he bought yogurt and he found my wallet right in the middle of the street in JABAL AMMAN!!

I went out to my friends and broke the news and we had a big big big hug infront of the elevators .. we looked like we just stepped out of a movie .. hehehe

All the girls took a bus home .. Lujain and I went to jabal amman in a taxi.. we met the boy and thanked him as we got back the wallet ... nothing was missing ... I pulled out the pictures ( I dont want to talk about this part, it fills my head with tears) ...

Later at night Dad called the father of the boy who found the wallet and we found out that the father has cancer and its a mteer of time for him to die!! .. ahhh it was a long long day with a lot of stuff to tell , but the most important of all : Those who hold God in their hearts never feel fear.

sabeel el horeyat - in our way to the second makhfar

God bless Jordanian police:)

Owarimashita: A whole in my heart.

My Class in Cervantes

Today was the last day in my Japanese course and the last teaching class in my Spanish course in el instituto Cervantes.

Today as I closed the door behind me in JAAJ I had the "End of The Course" feeling. A feeling that is mainly based on the huge feeling of loss and herat-ache. I thought of the crossed fingers of Sami-san while he was thretening me... and the joyous laugh of ahmad-san... the extraordinary smart comments of Zembo-san (A7mad-san)... the weird examples of yousef-san and a7mad-san ... the ironic shows of bokamono san (3ala2, mu7ammad and sami)...

"End of The Course" feeling gives you an indication that there are some people inside the room whom you will never see again, and there are those whom you are going to meet accidentely in a public place but you will not say hi for many reasons (Like you feel afraid that they will not remember your first name, or they have lost their interest in you , or they are accompanied with wives or girlfriends) and there are those whom you have their phone numbers but you know that you would never return to call ...

"End of Course Feeling" is a moment where people do actually "DIE" from your world, and for some reason as you find yourself alone in the corridor you mourn them ... you mourn the nice moments and the jokes ... you mourn the faces that would fade and you mourn most of all your poor soul that has to keep bleeding faces and memories.

To all my friends in JAAj and Instituto Cervantes Amman : For Leonardo (Abu Andrea) , For Patrick (Abu Sebastian) , For 7ajje Sa7ar , 7ajje rena , El o5t elmonadele Ola and for my Dearest Miguel Angel Navarrate... If our ways just split then the power of prayer will always bring us together.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
ويلك من الناس و ويل الناس منك يا أبا ذر،تعيش وحيدا و تموت وحيدا و تبعث يوم القيامة وحيدا

صدق رسول الله

He is back

Yesterday I got to know a guy who was willing to hit another guy for hurting the feelings of a friend of theirs.
I thought it was stupid untill I came today and found Señor A in the corridor gazing in the horizon with his empty eyes. He scares me , evertime I see him out there I wonder what did I do to deserve all of this ... He scares the hell out of me ..
Today I was walking alone and he was gazing at me ever since I got in, that my feet were shivering... I felt like falling on the floor and crying out all of this pain. He died two years ago , and I got used to a world without him and now he aroused from the death to scare me.
Why dont I have a ¨stupid¨friend who would grab him and nail him to the wall and tell him that he is no more welcome around me!!!

Look who has just arrived^_^

Nimo is 21 days old now ... He is healthy and happy to be born ... now he can walk but he cant still talk .. loooool

A poem... By William Butler Yeats

THE INDIAN TO HIS LOVETHE

island dreams under the dawn

And great boughs drop tranquillity;

The peahens dance on a smooth lawn,

A parrot sways upon a tree,

Raging at his own image in the enamelled sea

.Here we will moor our lonely ship

And wander ever with woven hands,

Murmuring softly lip to lip,

Along the grass, along the sands,

Murmuring how far away are the unquiet lands:

If it had been any worse I would have strangled myself

No pictures available
Just arrived back from the Haiku contest , I will try my hardest to be subjective and well mannered in the following points:
1- Many presentations had nothing to do with the Haiku they talked about.
2-No one picked a picture that really goes witht the poem and still mangaes to attract eyes except for Yazan-san.
3-Some dear contestants were acting and filling the room with false feelings and manipulating my vomiting urges.
4-If the audience is so gad damn disgusting why do some people still feel like being in platform and keeping their disgusted faces on?
5-Horrible arabic grammatical mistakes were made and they were not taken in consideration .
6-Perfect presentations were just ignored like presentations of Ala'a san and Nada san. Alaa talked about the appreciaton of happiness through sadness and Nada talked about the kites that poor boys use to purchase their dreams. I had to stop the too of them while the were leaving to tell them that they were the best.
7- The judging was a full disgusting mess.. the girl who won is a good actor but knows nothing about poetry .. no one of the winners deserves winning but Fawz san...
I know I sound so harsh and mean ... I am trying to look at the bright side but the thing is that I cant find any!!! Is this the Highly arranged contest that I was kicked off?!!!! I have been dwelling in regret for the last 22 days to finally come and find these rusty presentations taking my place?!! I was kicked out to give them this space so they can go home with japanese dictionaries and I go home feeling what I am feeling now!!!
Last years contest was like a 17 thousand millon times better , maybe the handing out date was not the criteria ... I dont know ...
This is a failure and I cant but feel sorrey because after all this whole Japanese jordan thing feels like home for me ... I feel like a part of it and when it deals with such failure i have the feeling that I myself had failed.
I wanna know why the hard work of everyone was shattered away like this!!
Some thing WRONG went on today and it has o be something BIG.
I got it off my chest ... offffffffffft
Have a nice day >> dozo yoroshkou onigaishimasu (what does that mean)!!!

Yara

listen to this:

My life ... Watashi no no sé que

Strats like this:

And then:

And the same thing goes over and over again

I have never felt that useless ... Never thought that my life would turn to be this shitty circle.

When you boycott Pepsi and you get thirsty you turn creative^_^

Shopping in Daiso: Again!!

Yesterday my friends (Sara, Sadoof, Mays, Lujain) and I had a very beautiful day. As we finished our Gramatica class we went with Lulu to her room in the residence. We were talking and laughing meanwhile we were moving inside a little house which made me feel as if we are Ladies!!! How weird!!

Lulu took us in her car and they relied on me to tell them the right address .. happily for everyone: I got lost!! We had to call dad to tell us where to go and with his directions we got to the mall.

I am 19 , still it was my first time with my friends in a Mall. It felt weird for a while... its a feeling that i cant really get to describe but I can notice on my own face as I see its reflection on the shops glass windows. I found out something (its bad I know) but i was raised in a way that I get to feel guilt as I have pure FUN.

Anyways .. as we got in we made a huge fuss because we liked EVERYTHING. We kept losing each other among the shelves but we had tons of fun .. we laughed as I was translating the japanese I dont understand thar was written on the products...

Look:

First failure in taking a picture of the Kanji written on the box

Second failure^_^

What the hell does that say!!!
It looks like taking forever to read all of this
(Here is an irrelevent thought: If someone who does not knoe me saw the picture and saw how my brecelet sparkels he/she would think that am an elegant lady... heheheheheheh)
I bought:
1-The thingy that has fish flgas (we stuck it out the car window .. it looks very nice when the air fells it)
2-Ohashi ... 5 pairs and a seperate pair with a cloth bag that am gonna keep for sometime (evil plans)
3-Katakna litters!!!! I was lucky to find these
4-Daruma doll for my mobile .. if you look carefuuly in the right high corner you can see it hanging from a chop stick .. if you cant then here is a closer look

To read more about daruma dolls here you go:
